This section displays announcements created using the Hour Timesheet Announcement page. The Hour Timesheet Dashboard is a simple way to communicate company specific information to your employees and contractors.

Login to Hour Timesheet

Misc Dashboard Notes

* The dashboard content only appears to users with the employee role

* The dashboard is only viewable in the Hour Timesheet web interface

* The dashboard feature is accessible to all types of users but only users with the employee role will have access to company-generated content created by the announcement feature.

New Announcement Alerts

Once a new announcement has been assigned to an employee. The Dashboard menu will include an alert notification on the menu. The number value in the alert identifies the number of new or unread announcements for the user who is signed in to Hour Timesheet.

Creating Announcements

Access to Feature

Users with the following roles in Hour Timesheet will have access to the Announcement feature

Supervisor

Admin

Create A new Announcement

To create a new announcement. Follow the steps below

1. Navigate to the Announcement menu

2. Enter the following information in the Create/Edit Announcement(s) form

3. Start Date

4. End Date

5. Title for Announcement

6. Announcement Content

7. Select from the list of Available Employees

8. Click Apply

Editing Announcements

Once announcements are saved. The content can be edited by following the steps below.

1. Click the announcement to be edited from the list of announcements

2. Click the Edit Announcement link

3. Update content

4. Click Apply
